A fantastic day in MTU today for our VEX Robotics Team 2022-2023 who won 3 top awards; STEM Research Project (Finger Printing prototype), Robot Skills (top driving score & coding score), Teamwork Champions (top combined score with other schools).
A brilliant achievement for such a hard working side who gave up their lunch times and stayed after school numerous days over the past number of weeks to improve, redesign and perfect their robot, their strategy and their presentation. Maith sibh!
This means they have qualified for the All-Irelands in Feb and no doubt will continue their hard work up to then. We are so proud of you all! Thanks to the teachers who have worked very hard with the team and to all the volunteers in MTU today running the competition.
